What We Do
This Unit is intended to give believers a joyful, wholesome alternative to the entertainment culture around them — a space equipped with a modern film projector, where meaningful Christian movies are shown alongside intermittent preaching of the Word. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are made available, along with Christian magazines and literature for those who can read and write, all in service of one goal: discipleship that is engaging, communal, and Christ-centered.
How It Works
The Discipleship and Christian Recreational Unit combines fellowship with formation:
- Screenings of Christian films, paired with short, focused preaching of the Word
- A welcoming social space with refreshments, encouraging believers to gather without compromise
- Distribution of Christian magazines and literature to build biblical literacy among those who can read
- Ongoing discipleship for believers who want to grow deeper in their walk with Christ, beyond a single Sunday service
