About Hillcross Ministry
Our story, what we believe, and the people God has called to lead this work.
Our Story
Hillcross Ministry was born out of a deep concern over the decay in society, where the less privileged are so often left at the receiving end. We believe the Lord called us to establish this ministry to reach the neglected and abandoned of our society — re-engineering and re-orienting minds toward the potential God created in each person.
We exist to reach the less privileged for Christ and improve their spiritual, physical, economic, and social well-being, for the enrichment of God’s kingdom and the betterment of society, by the special grace of God.
Where We Work
Hillcross Ministry is headquartered in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, and has grown to include an active presence in Umuahia, Abia State — extending our family counseling, discipleship, and outreach work to a second community.
What We Believe
We preach Christ crucified (1 Corinthians 1:22–23), undiluted and without compromise. The Ministry is run entirely on biblical principles, and every decision is measured against one question: What would Jesus say and do?
We carry out this calling through eight Ministry Units — spanning theological education, an evangelical chapel, AIDS awareness and care, media ministry, Christian recreation, discipleship for teens and adolescents, family counseling, and conflict management. See our Ministry Units →
